Gian P. Giandomenico, MPA, ARM

President, Claims Consultant

As founder of GPG Claims, LLC, Gian brings more than 30 years of claims and risk management experience, with specialties in workers’ compensation, disability and private medical plans. Gian graduated as an undergrad from the University of Rochester and earned his Master of Public Administration from Canisius College. He has worked as an adjuster, claims supervisor, claims manager, account executive, claims advocate and for an employer coordinating their nation-wide workers’ compensation program. He also spent some time teaching night school at a local community college. He also volunteers as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors at Youth Mentoring Services of Niagara County and as a member of the SPCA of Niagara County’s Advisory Committee. Gian is a member and former President of the Buffalo Claims Association and he participates in various other insurance industry groups.

Gian is licensed by the State of New York as an Independent General Adjuster and as a Property & Casualty Insurance Broker.

When he’s not working, volunteering or spending time with his family and friends, Gian enjoys hiking, going to the gym, listening to all kinds of music and learning about science and history.

Samantha Pilote, RN

Nurse Case Manager

Certified Catastrophic Case Manager

A Registered Nurse, Samantha offers over 30 years of varied and diverse experience in the medical field and as a nurse case manager. She has worked in multiple healthcare settings from acute care in the ICU to home accident care, from newborns to geriatrics with complex medical issues and comorbidities, including but not limited to ventilators/tracheostomy. Nutrition counseling and wound care are also part of Samantha’s background.

Samantha also worked as a Nurse Manager and as an Assistant Administrator in inpatient settings. Other experience includes working with nursing homes and as a hospice case manager dealing with various stages of debilitating health issues. She is certified to handle catastrophic claims, but is also adept at assisting injured workers or other patients who need any level of care whether in person in the field or by phone.

Samantha is a graduate of the nursing program at Erie Community College. She has been recognized by Catholic Health for her customer service excellence. As a result of her wealth of knowledge of elder care and Department of Health Guidelines and criteria for placement in long term care facilities, Samantha is also PRI/SCREEN Certified.

When she is not delivering positive results for her clients, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, especially at their sporting events, and travelling to warm and sunny locales. In the summer, when not on her boat, Samantha is likely enjoying gardening and tending to her flowers.
